I learned so much about the different backgrounds these students come from. As an educator, I will have students from all different backgrounds with different cultures, experiences, and lifestyles. This experience really showed me how important it is to celebrate these differences and to be accepting of everyone. Evaluation for this experience is on the Evaluations page. |
Inspiring Minds Center for Dyslexia and Literacy
I learned different practices and simple adjustments that can make a world of a difference to a student. As an educator, I will have all different types of learners in my classroom, each with their own strengths and weaknesses. This was such an incredible experience to see how I will be able to support students that have dyslexia or struggle with literacy.
For a more depth analysis of what I did, experienced, witnessed, and learned, this paper provides more detail.
